GB Planning Commission Considers Wal-Mart Supercenter

The Green Bay Planning Commission is expected to take up a zoning request Monday night that could bring a new Wal-Mart Supercenter to Green Bay's far east side.

Plans are to build the store on East Mason Street, South Huron, and Finger Road, east of Interstate 43 and north of the I-43 Business Center.

The plan calls for the supercenter to be similar in size to the Wal-Mart already on West Mason Street.

Wal-Mart currently has a store within two miles of the proposed site, on Main Street.
