Florence Edwards, Executive Assistant

Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia, Florence Edwards first came to the Midwest to attend Oberlin College, where she graduated in 2005 with a degree in History and minors in East Asian Studies and Politics. Prior to coming to MEA she interned with WAND (Women's Action for New Directions) at its national field office in Atlanta. From a young age Florence had been active advocating for a wide variety of social and environmental concerns, including green-space preservation, species conservation, nuclear nonproliferation and government fiscal accountability.
